The Hong Kong Community College is a separate entity owned by the University as a non-profit-making post-secondary college. It mainly focuses on offering Associate Degree programmes in support of the Government's policy of raising the participation rate in tertiary education among school leavers.
School of Professional Education and Executive Development (SPEED) , which offers top-up Bachelor's degree programmes and credit-bearing courses through its structured "Credit Accumulation Mechanism". SPEED also provides many short courses for professional development and joint programmes leading to overseas awards.

- The Hong Kong CyberU (HKCyberU) , the online service arm of PolyU, provides high-quality web-based programmes leading to academic awards (up to postgraduate level) offered by the University and other prestigious institutions in the Chinese mainland and overseas. Our objective is to help working adults to pursue quality and professional education with maximum flexibility, practicality and convenience despite their busy and hectic lifestyle.

- Centre for Professional and Business English , which specialises in training and consultancy in English and communication skills for individuals, companies and organisations. Most courses lead to the government-recognised Certificate of the Hong Kong Vocational English Programme.

| Management and Executive Development Centre provides a variety of management training courses for senior executives. It also extends support to the Integrated Engineering Business Management Programme, an industry-led programme which is offered jointly with the University of Warwick in the UK. |
